Muskoka Delivery Services Policy on Collect Shipments
Muskoka
Delivery Service will deliver the freight our customers give us
on their waybills, so all collect shipments must be clearly
marked on the bill as collect and rated to the final
destination.
At
time of delivery Muskoka Delivery Service will collect the
amount stated on the waybill and forward the full amount to the
customer with the POD.
We will then bill the customer for Muskoka Delivery Service’s
portion of the delivery.
If for some reason the customer can not rate the bill before
they turn the freight over to Muskoka Delivery Service, the
customer must make sure that it is clearly marked on the waybill
as unrated. If the freight is only rated to Toronto, then that
must be stated on the waybill.
We
will contact customer service or the rating department before we
deliver the freight to get a copy of an updated waybill with the
through rate on it faxed to us and we will deliver on that
paperwork
